Focus: Education of Dialysis Nurses
Reports To: Director of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
  • Certification in dialysis nursing preferred
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Open to travelling to multiple units
POSITION SUMMARY:
This full-time position requires a clinically competent registered nurse who is able to demonstrate nursing actions, talk through actions to illustrate the thinking process, role-modeling professional interactions, design learning experiences and patient care assignments, asses readiness, give feedback on performance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to do moderate lifting of at least 40lbs. Requires mental, visual, and auditory attention. Work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious disease/materials.
STAFFING & SUPERVISION:
  • Provide continuity of direct instruction and supervision to employee, consistent with Concerto policies and procedures
  • Directly observe employee with patients
  • Provide ongoing and timely feedback to the Regional Managers and
  • Director of Operations regarding the learning needs and performance of employees
  • Immediately notify management of concerns
  • Assist with communication to facilities; understanding of company’s goals, system of care delivery, procedures and relationships
Required education:
  • Bachelor's
Required experience:
  • Dialysis: 3 years
  • Preceptor / Educator: 2 years
Required licenses or certifications:
  • IL RN
  • Certification in Dialysis Nursing
